We’re happy to announce that our LinkPro Solar Management Gateway has successfully integrated with two new leading inverter brands, iStore and FIMER. This means that Amber Electric customers using these inverters can now take full advantage of the LinkPro’s smart energy management features.
Aircon for Amber: Smarter Automation for iStore and FIMER Customers
Amber Electric customers that own iStore or FIMER solar inverters can now benefit from Voltello's Aircon for Amber smart automation, designed to help you avoid negative Feed-in Tariff (FiT) events automatically. This feature intelligently curtails your solar output during periods when exporting energy to the grid could result in costs rather than savings. Aircon for Amber ensures you maximise your solar investment without the worry of negative FiT events.
Flexible Exports: iStore Integration and FIMER Certification in Progress
For iStore inverter owners, the LinkPro now unlocks seamless compatibility with Flexible Exports, enabling real-time adjustments to your solar exports based on grid conditions. This ensures that you can export more solar and avoid solar export caps. With Flexible Exports, solar export limits dynamically adjust based on real-time grid conditions, often allowing them to export up to twice as much solar energy to the grid compared to those with capped limits, maximising their solar investment.
We’re also in the process of obtaining CSIP-AUS certification for FIMER inverters, which will soon allow FIMER owners to participate in Flexible Exports as well. Our team is committed to expanding these capabilities to ensure all our customers can benefit from the latest in smart energy management.
Airon for Amber: Smarter Automation for Your Home Heating and Cooling
In addition to these new integrations, don’t forget you can also access the 'Aircon for Amber' smart automation plan with Voltello's AirFlex smart thermostat. This lets you adjust your aircon temperature based on Amber Electric's real-time energy prices, all within your chosen comfort range. It helps you save on energy costs by heating or cooling more when prices are low and reducing split system aircon usage when prices rise, all while keeping you in control through the Voltello app.
Looking Ahead: Home Assistant Integration
